STYLE AND HISTORY ON THE EDGE OF SYDNEY HARBOUR ::
Positioned on the edge of the world’s most stunning harbour, InterContinental Sydney overlooks the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Royal Botanic Gardens. Steps away are the Central Business District, the historic Rocks area, leading shops and boutiques and some of the finest restaurants this city has to offer. Situated at Circular Quay, this hotel was once the site of the first Government House and later the Treasury Building. The InterContinental Sydney blends contemporary style with 19th century architecture and is distinguished by the façade of the 1851 Treasury Building. Beyond your guestroom discover the outstanding facilities and services of the hotel, from the rooftop lounge of the Club InterContinental, to the panoramic views afforded by the indoor swimming and fitness facilities on level 31, to the fantastic dining venues of Café Opera, Cortile and Etch.

RESTAURANTS & BARS
Café Opera, our grand hotel dining room, takes you on an all-day dining voyage to different corners of the world. In quirky Etch, Justin North presents simple, affordable modern European cuisine. High Tea, light bites and wines by the glass star in the Cortile Lounge.

I can't quite believe it's been 7 weeks since I walked to Kailas with you guys. I can honestly say I have learnt an awful lot since my return. It took me a while to find something I knew I would enjoy and find challenging in equal measure, and although The Kailas trip in the end proved more of a stick than a carrot towards the end, the experience has been no less valuable for it.I'm sure there are days when I'm fed up with difficult clients and long for the days of being back in Tibetan mountains and indeed in the company of spiritual leader in Swamiji and the entertainer Ravi Sab, and there are times I think back to all the laughs, jokes and smiling faces of my special journey and treasure more than ever the friendships that I have made during the 'yatra'. Special thanks to Swamiji, for all your kind wishes over the last few days.Ravi you are a damn good man, one that always has smile and good at your jobs, so don't let the daily grind get you down. Good Luck in all you choose to do or trying to achieve, and God Bless.
